About Pepper!

Pepper is the creation of Johnny Prince and Vince Dickson. Whilst studying in Cape Town in 2004, they realised the absence of a tailor-made and all-encompassing experience of South Africa and hence the Pepper Experience was born.

Together, they have organised and participated in many successful trips throughout South Africa and southern Africa (including Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia) for university students and other young travellers. It is this combination of unique local knowledge and established, experienced service providers that make the Pepper Experiences so different. The idea behind the Gap Year and Career Break experiences is to meet as many people and experience as many different things as possible.

Pepper trips are different. Our tailor made and luxury trips are designed to give you completely unique experiences. In our experience, people are becoming less satisfied with the restraint of having to follow one particular activity or theme in their gap year or career break. Pepper enables them to experience as many different ideas and places as possible and we want people to come away having had an unforgettable taster of a huge variety of different activities.
