British Lions Rugby Tour 2009

Latest news on our Lions tour is the following:

We are fully booked for our 2 week Lions experience and have a few tailor made groups going out as well. It promises to be an incredible trip and a great time to be out in South Africa.

The good news is that we have had a lot of enquiries and are looking into opening up another trip around the 3rd test (Saturday 4 July 2009). Along with this there is also the possibiliity of a few more places opening up on our 2 week experience (£1250 starting in Cape Town, up to Durban and into Pretoria, taking in the first 2 tests) so if you are interested please get hold of us ASAP!

What we are proposing for the lions tour in 2009 is a two week tour taking in 4 Lions matches. We will start in Cape Town with the Western Province game before heading up along the Garden Route of South Africa (through Port Elizabeth for the Coastal XV game), stopping on the wild coast and into Durban for the first test. From Durban, we will move slightly further north for 2 days on safari before heading to Johannesburg and Pretoria for the second test. We have put together this trip by trying to keep the cost down while still doing and seeing as much as possible around the rugby matches. This itinerary and everything along the way is very flexible and is open to as much change as you would like to make. Please have a look at a sample itinerary that has been put together.
